  Here you can download a collection of research, personal recollections, photos, maps and documents about the village of Sophiendorf / Zofia. The book covers the period from 1804 when the village was founded, through the years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, both World Wars, the Communist era, right to the present day.

  The book, a project of a group of Sophiendorf descendents, was coordinated and edited by Madeline Stanley.
